Opinione dell’esperto
You’d be shocked to discover that the same spoofed PayPal number keeps popping up across dozens of complaints. These calls never come from official PayPal lines; the company only contacts users via email or its secure app. Never share your email, password, or card digits with anyone who phones you. If you’re unsure, hang up, log into your PayPal account directly, and verify any alerts. Add the number to your phone’s block list, report it to your carrier, and consider using a call‑filtering service. Stay vigilant, keep personal details private, and remember that legitimate businesses won’t demand sensitive information over an unsolicited call.

It turned out to be a fraud – the caller pretended to be PayPal, claimed my email didn't match their system, and when I called him out he just hung up.

A definately scam – I just hung up and verified with PayPal that this number isn’t theirs. Their fraud team is investigating. Do not share any details and block both numbers (including +44 800 368 XXXX). The people claiming it’s PayPal are only trying to add credibility.
This number is totaly scam dont give detials
Advarsel: PayPal ringer aldrig for at indhente konto‑oplysninger. Dette er et phishing‑opkald – sådan her svindel er typisk, haha.

Seems to be PayPal’s credit‑control department; while it might be legitimate, there are impostors trying to extract personal data, so verify directly.
