Patterns in the reports reveal a persistent wave of unsolicited calls purporting to be from Virgin Media. Callers repeatedly use a fast‑talking Asian accent, claim to verify account details or offer bogus discounts, and often hang up when challenged. The hallmark signs are the vague greeting, request for personal data and the inability to provide a legitimate Virgin Media reference. Block the number through your handset and inform your provider’s spam‑filter. Register the number with the Telephone Preference Service and report persistent abuse to Ofcom or Action Fraud. Never disclose passwords or payment information over the phone; always verify the caller through official Virgin Media channels first – it’s a classic scam.
