Multiple reports highlight unsolicited WhatsApp messages from this number posing as Facebook verification codes for account resets. Victims describe receiving unrequested 2FA prompts, often tied to phishing attempts or unauthorized login tries, with some noting a 'verified' badge on the scammer's profile to build false trust. Patterns suggest coordinated efforts to hijack accounts, potentially leading to further spam or data theft. Block immediately and report to WhatsApp/Facebook support. Enable two-factor authentication on your own devices, avoid clicking suspicious links, and monitor accounts for unusual activity to safeguard against escalation.
