Expertadvies

Calls from that number usually drop you into an EE voicemail greeting, often with no actual message left. The pattern of repeated rings, silent answer‑phone recordings and sudden text alerts is typical of spoofed carrier‑service numbers. To stay safe, avoid calling the number back – any connection can generate unexpected charges. Instead, check your inbox directly through the official EE app or website, and delete any suspicious voicemails. Use your phone’s block feature or report the number to EE’s spam‑filtering service. If a text asks for personal data or a PIN, treat it as phishing and ignore it. Regularly review your call‑log for similar patterns.
