I've recieved two calls from this number. The voicemail had only background noise, sounding like it was from India.

Ekspertvurdering
The number +447885911111 is almost certainly linked to unsolicited marketing calls, specifically targeting individuals who have recently registered a domain name. The majority of complaints indicate that these calls begin shortly after purchasing a domain through platforms like GoDaddy, 123-reg, or Wix. Users report receiving silent calls, hang-ups, or mumbled offers related to web development or ink cartridges, often from foreign-sounding callers, likely based in India. This suggests that the caller(s) are scraping WHOIS data—a public database of domain registrations—to harvest contact details for telemarketing purposes. Many users express frustration with the sheer volume of spam calls and emails that follow, often leading them to block the number or opt for domain privacy services in the future. While the exact identity of the caller remains unclear, the pattern points to opportunistic web service providers or third-party marketers exploiting publicly available domain registration data. This practice is widely regarded as harassing and unethical, prompting calls for stricter regulations on WHOIS data accessibility.

A man with an Indian accent called himself John, which I doubt. He was talking nonsense. I had just registered a domain, so maybe he's a web developer scammer.
I registred a domain with godaddy and then I got a call from this number, whats the conection?
Apparently, they obtained my number from a domain registration, and now i recieve alot of spam emails too, mostly from companys claiming to be based in the US but with very poor english skill, wich make me think they are not from the US.
Since renewing a domain with 123 reg, I've been receiving total hassle calls from this number, which I've now blocked
I called back and got a recorded message saying it was a incorrect number, i think it's a internet marketing scam
Following my purchase of four new domain names from 123-reg last Friday, I received two calls from this number, which were met with static before the caller disconnected; it's hard not to suspect that some domain providers might be encouraging such behavior to promote their domain privacy services
It is imperative that a method be found to block your number from whois, as the current situation is unacceptable.
After buying a domain, this number called, hung up, and keeps repeating the same thing.
They’re absolutely awful!
Harassment from this number has been frequent, with multiple calls; I recommend blocking it, especially after recently purchasing a domain.
