Avis d’expert
Calls claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse often sound like spam, with heavy accents and vague offers of cheap upgrades. The number 0370 111 6565 is publicly listed for genuine support, yet scammers frequently spoof it to harvest personal data or push fake deals. If you receive an unexpected call, let it ring and verify the number on the official website before answering any questions. Never disclose passwords, payment details or send money to unverified links. Use your phone’s block feature, report the incident to the Phone‑pay as you go scheme, and consider changing any credentials that may have been exposed.

Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse, but the accent suggests it’s likely from the Bombay office. They inquired if I wanted a new phone. Clearly a scam since I’ve never dealt with CW. Avoid this caller.
