Beware of calls claiming to be from M&S fraud department – they are almost certainly spoofed. Callers often mention a recent card transaction, request a security code from the M&S app, or ask for personal details such as date of birth or post‑code. Never share a security code or any card information unless you have dialled the official number printed on your card. Hang up immediately if the displayed number does not match M&S’s genuine contact, then call the authentic M&S customer service line to verify any issue. Report the call to your bank and to Action Fraud and consider blocking the number on your phone.
