Expertenmeinung
Avoid answering unknown numbers unless you recognise the caller. The number +44 161 814 8138 repeatedly identifies itself as “Speed” and presents itself as an insurance or personal‑injury claims service, often demanding you speak to a non‑existent representative. Callers employ aggressive language, silence, and repeated ring‑backs to wear down recipients, a classic sign of a scam operation. Use your phone’s built‑in block feature or a reputable call‑blocking app to stop future rings. Register the number with the UK’s Do‑Not‑Call registry and report the nuisance to Action Fraud. Keep a log of call times and content – it helps authorities trace patterns and may deter further contact.
