专家点评

Last evening, my phone rang yet again from the same persistent number. The pattern points to an insurance telemarketing operation that often follows an online quote request. If you’re receiving multiple calls, start by blocking the number on your handset and add it to any carrier‑provided blacklist. Register your mobile with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) to reduce unsolicited sales calls. When a call does get through, politely request that your details be removed from their database and note the time of the call for any future report to Ofcom. Using a call‑blocking app can help filter out repeat numbers, and avoid engaging with offers that weren’t explicitly solicited.
