Asiantuntijan arvio
Ever wonder why that persistent ring from an unknown number feels off? These calls from +441482293810 overwhelmingly point to an energy scam operation, where callers pose as reps from companies like British Gas or Energy Rescue to push fake savings deals. They often know your name, hang up if you're not the target, and never leave voicemails—classic red flags. Multiple reports highlight aggressive tactics from what seems like overseas call centers, aiming to harvest personal info for fraud. Block the number immediately and report it to your carrier or sites like Who Called Me. Never share details, even if they sound legit; hang up and verify directly with your actual provider. Staying vigilant saves headaches and potential identity theft.

This is an energy scam. They call frequently, even on Christmas Day. When I answered, they claimed I'd been selected for an award to reduce my gas bill, though I don't use gas.

Received two calls within three days. My iPhone is configured to silence unknown numbers, so I missed the ringing. The absence of a voicemail further indicates it’s probably a spam or fraudulent call.

Allegedly linked to British Gas as 'rescue energy services'. They knew personal details and inquired about utility expenses. Despite hanging up, they kept calling.

Callcenter
The phone rang, showed as Suspected Spam on my Android, answered it, they got my name wrong, I told them they had the wrong number and they just hung up. Sounded like a busy call centre in the background.
As noted, this is an energy scam. It's easy to spot if you have experience in the sector. Don't share any information, not even your name.
