専門家の見解
It appears that the caller with the number +441416287384 is a scammer targeting individuals and businesses with fake energy-related claims, often pretending to be from reputable companies like British Gas or Octopus. The caller's aggressive and pushy behavior, combined with their inability to provide accurate information or confirm account details, raises significant red flags. Many users have reported being asked for personal info, meter readings, or photos of their meters, which are all potential phishing attempts. To protect yourself, it's essential to be cautious when receiving calls from unknown numbers and never provide sensitive information or engage with suspicious callers. If you receive a call from this number, it's best to hang up and block the number to avoid further harassment. Remember to always verify the authenticity of callers by contacting your actual energy provider directly, and never trust callers who use high-pressure tactics or make unrealistic claims.

Received a call about meter inspection. They asked for a photo of my meter, which made me suspicious due to the Indian accent. When I refused, he got angry and offered to send the serial number via Whatsapp. I asked for my account number and meter reading, which he couldn't provide. He said he'd call back tomorrow.
