전문가 의견
Check the caller’s identity before you engage. The +44 12 8233 5045 line is widely reported as a CAPLL Ltd call‑centre that follows up on recent fundraising lottery or regular‑giving sign‑ups for organisations such as Battersea Dogs Home, RSPCA, Scope and the British Heart Foundation. These calls are generally safe, but the lack of a voicemail can feel intrusive. Keep a short note of the charity you agreed to support, then ask the operator to confirm the specific campaign and their affiliation. If the script feels vague or you receive repeated silent rings, consider verification and block the number or report it to your phone provider.

After signing up, i got a call from battersea cats and dogs, seems legit
As I had previously signed up with Battersea, I believe this number is related to them, although they do not leave messages, making it necessary to search for the number online to determine the caller's identity.

Despite previously blocking this number, it continues to generate spam calls, which now only serve to clutter my call log.

Given the lack of follow-up or repeat calls, I'm dubious about the importance of the initial call from this unrecognised number
It's perfectly safe to pick up, as the caller is a representative from Battersea Dogs Home regarding The Paw Draw lottery, which I had signed up for at The Range Store earlier in the week 😀

Fundraising for British Heart Foundation, legit caller
Blue Cross follow-up
After recently signing up for the British Heart Foundation lottery, I believe this number is associated with the marketing company, as a voice recording confirmed when I called back.

This number is a nuisance caller
Despite calling three times without leaving a message, the caller has been 'blacklisted' as per my policy, although a connection to Battersea is possible due to a recent sponsorship agreement.
