Clearly a scam, a person with a Northern Irish accent offered me a deal on Sky broadband and requested my password and mothers maidern name.

Asiantuntijan arvio
Never share your password over the phone. Verify any caller claiming to be from Sky by calling the official customer‑service number you find on your bill or the company website, not the number on the incoming line. Treat requests for personal details, especially passwords or mother‑maiden name, as red flags and refuse to provide them. Use caller verification before discussing account information, and consider blocking numbers that repeatedly pressure you. Report suspicious calls to your provider and, if needed, to the national fraud authority. Keep a log of call times and scripts to help spot patterns and protect your identity.

This caller attempted to extract personal information, potentially for identity theft, by asking for my password and mother's maiden name, and became pushy when I declined to provide it over the phone.

Excellent service!
A person with a Northern Ireland accent, claiming to be from Sky, contacted me and adressed me by my first name, but i suspected it was a scam and ended the call
Caution is advised when dealing with this number, as it appears to be a scam attempting to gather personal information by offering broadband cost reductions.
This call was about a complaint I had made to Sky. The representative seemed friendly. I suspect it was an outsourced Sky call center (previously Abtran), which might explain the 6 pm calls. Since the inbound calls end, that's when outbound calls are made. Additionally, Sky may not have a record of the call due to a different CRM system. These centers are also involved in customer retention and may contact former customers.
The initial unsolicited call was an attempt to set up a payment plan for Sky Glass, during which the caller asked for my name and then pressured me to commit to a payment plan, raising suspicions when they requested credit card information

La procedura richiede il riavvio del router; il password di verifica richiesto e' una password separata impostata per la verifica dell'intestatario del conto, non la password di accesso a Sky online.

Upon answering, the caller claimed to represent Sky, verifying my identity and address before requesting my account password, to which I refused, citing security concerns and surprise at the request, suggesting that Sky Ireland should reassess its cold calling policies regarding password requests, though I believe the intention was not malicious
After answering this number, which had called multiple times, it turned out to be SKY offering VIP rewards and inquiring about broadband interest

They called 10 times today and 10 times yesterday. Even though I’ve blocked the number, it still appears in my call log.
