If you’re getting a call from +27878900400 that just sits silent on the other end, you’re most likely dealing with a silent telemarketing operation. These calls are a nuisance and often used to verify active numbers for later sales pitches. The safest move is to block the number on your phone and report it to your carrier or the national communications regulator. Don’t answer or engage – even a brief “hello” can confirm your line is active. Consider using a call‑screening app that tags telemarketing numbers and routes them to voicemail. If the calls keep coming, file a formal complaint so the source can be investigated.
