Ever wonder why a single number keeps popping up in your missed‑call list? Most of the complaints point to a Cell C telemarketing operation that relies on automated tones, brief greetings and immediate hang‑ups to verify active numbers. The safest move is to let the call go to voicemail, then block the caller on your handset or through your carrier’s spam‑filter. Follow up by filing a complaint with the national communications regulator and, if possible, add the number to a Do‑Not‑Call registry. When you finally answer, ask for a written request to stop future calls and keep a record of the interaction. Taking these steps can curb the nuisance and protect your privacy.

Umnxeba ongaziwa, awuzange unikeze ulwazi olusobala. Angizange ngiphendule, kodwa ngiyavala le nombolo.

Bloke doing telemarketing. Puts you on hold with that irritating non-tune crap before blabbing away to push crap you don't want or need. Seriously, send in Jehovah's Witnesses instead, haha.

Each time I answer, only a greeting is heard before silence, and after a few seconds the line drops. They seem to await a name response, so I let it run until they hang up.

Yo, get your telemarketers some training. They're rude, aggressive, and drop F-bombs when you say no thanks.

Started with music on the line, inquired for a person (wrong contact), then wouldn't explain the purpose or identify themselves, and ended the call abruptly. Each time this number contacts me, the caller acts unhelpful, rude, and avoids sharing name or business details.
