Думка експерта

If you’re seeing calls from 877‑383‑4802 claiming to be Capital One, it’s almost always a spoof. Scammers copy the bank’s name, use a familiar‑sounding script, and try to pull a security code or SSN. The real Capital One fraud line is listed on their website and never asks for full personal data over the phone. Hang up, don’t press any numbers, and call the official number yourself. Also block the caller, report it to the FTC, and consider adding the line to your phone’s Do‑Not‑Call list. Staying skeptical is your best defense against this scam.
