Caution: unexpected survey calls from this number often turn out to be scams. Many recipients report a pre‑recorded voice asking you to press 1 or 2 to confirm whether you have a landline or a cell phone, then hanging up as soon as you respond. Never press any keys, and avoid providing personal details. If you’re curious, let the call go to voicemail and review the message before deciding. Use your phone’s built‑in block feature or a third‑party app to stop future rings. Report the number to your carrier or a consumer‑protection agency to help flag the source. Staying silent and blocking are the safest steps.

Apparently, the terms you agreed to did not include exemptions for survey calls; perhaps a thorough review of what you signed up for is in order

A robocall with a recorded message, including a name, company, and address, prompted the listener to press numbers based on their phone type.

Frequent calls from this number claim to be from a survey group, but I strongly advise against engaging with unfamiliar numbers as it can lead to potential risks.

How did you come up with the idear that a survey about land line or cell phone has to do with a lung desease

Given my involvement in a respiratory study, it seems plausible that this call is genuinely related to that research, especially considering the context of my interstitial lung disease.

To be honest, i didnt pay alot of attention, somthing about a surve, so i placed it on blocked call numbers
This number has been asociated with multiple scam calls, including recent ones claiming to be a research study on post-COVID lung issues from hospitals in British Colombia, Canada, and a robo call survey that hangs up as soon as you press a number, and today I got a call in French from someone claiming to be a researcher named Louise from Québec, Canada, who basicly said it was a survey before switching to a male robot voice

A call starting in French and switching to English with a robot voice seems highly suspicious, likely a scam attempt to verify active numbers for future fraudulent activities.

They left a message, but i still blocked the number, i dont trust them
Given the behavior of this caller, who rings repeatedly without leaving a message and is not in the recipient's contacts, it's likely that this is a typical scammer.

A sarcastic response to the idea of being able to predict winning numbers is warranted in this case.
