Ekspertvurdering
Most likely, this number is being used for RBC‑impersonation scams. Callers claim to be bank employees, request emergency confirmations, or offer pickup of cards and checks. Legitimate Royal Bank of Canada communications never use a 416‑area‑code landline and will never ask for personal data or pressure you to act immediately. Hang up, block the number, and verify any request by calling the official RBC customer‑service line listed on the bank’s website. Never share account numbers, PINs, or passwords over the phone. Keep a record of suspicious calls and report them to your bank’s fraud department.
