Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why a number you don’t recognize keeps buzzing your phone with vague mentions of the CDC? Most reports point to a scam masquerading as a government survey about childhood immunizations. Callers often request personal or vaccination details and give a callback number that leads to a dead‑end. The safest move is to let the call go to voicemail, never share health information, and block the source in your phone app. Report the incident to the FTC or the FCC’s Do‑Not‑Call portal, and if you’re curious, verify any legitimate CDC outreach directly on the official CDC website.
