Watch out for relentless robo‑calls that claim your auto warranty is expiring. Callers rarely leave voicemails, hang up when you answer, or use vague recordings to pressure a quick yes. They often spoof local area codes and label the call as "Scam Likely" on carrier ID. The safest move is to let the call go to voicemail, block the number, and report it to the FTC or your phone carrier. Never share personal or payment info, and consider adding the number to a call‑blocking app. If you’re on the Do‑Not‑Call list, remember it’s not a guarantee—persistent scammers will still dial.

The recording was trying to sell car warranties, which is a complete waste of time and likely a scam.

I didnt bother to answer the call, and it went to voicemail, but they didnt leave a message, wich is ushualy the case with scammers and robocalls.
A robocall claiming to be from the Vehicle Warranty Department is a known scam, and callers should be cautious
After blocking the number, I used my workplace fax machine to return the call and subjected them to a continuous beep

It appears to be a fraudulent or phishing attempt, as a robotic voice claimed my car warranty was expiring and failed to provide a name or company, instead offering options for my vehicle
