Opinión del experto
Imagine getting a call that flashes "Mapping Dept" on your caller ID and immediately launches a script about a business listing you never claimed. Most reports point to a spoofed telemarketing operation that uses vague references to Google or listings to bait recipients. The safest move is to let the call go to voicemail, avoid pressing any prompts, and add the number to your block list or a reputable call‑filtering app. Report persistent offenders to the FTC and your phone carrier’s spam‑call program. Regularly review your own online listings to preempt scammers from exploiting outdated information.
