Earlier today, a call from +12069220880 showed up as Amazon Customer Service. The pattern in the comments points to a requested callback rather than a random spam blast, but scammers often masquerade as reputable brands. Verify the call by checking your Amazon order history or the app’s “Contact Us” section before sharing any details. If you didn’t request a callback, let the call go to voicemail and report the number to Amazon’s support page. Use a call‑blocking app for numbers that repeatedly ring without answer, and keep your account passwords and payment info offline. When in doubt, hang up and initiate contact through the official website.

A message was left claiming to be from Amazon's fraud department regarding a $999 charge. However, the number was spoofed, and upon checking my account, no such charge existed. I typically ignore calls from unknown numbers on my home phone.
