Earlier today, a call from +12069220880 showed up as Amazon Customer Service. The pattern in the comments points to a requested callback rather than a random spam blast, but scammers often masquerade as reputable brands. Verify the call by checking your Amazon order history or the appโs โContact Usโ section before sharing any details. If you didnโt request a callback, let the call go to voicemail and report the number to Amazonโs support page. Use a callโblocking app for numbers that repeatedly ring without answer, and keep your account passwords and payment info offline. When in doubt, hang up and initiate contact through the official website.

Customer support from Amazon is excellent
A call was received, allegedly from Amazon, but the conversation quickly turned suspicious, and the caller's aggressive behavior was alarming. The incident has led to a loss of trust in Amazon's handling of customer information.

It's unclear who was callin or what they wanted, the message was pretty confusing and it worried me
The caller claimed to be from Amazon customer service, saying i made a 99 cent charge, and if not, i should call them back, sounds fishy.

Experiencing a series of repeated calls from this number, I eventually received a message from a woman with limited English proficiency, who falsely claimed to be calling from Amazon due to a supposed prior conversation that had been disconnected. However, I had no record of such an interaction, and Amazon does not have the phone number she used to contact me, indicating a clear case of scamming.
